ESCORTED GOLF TOUR, MYRTLE BEACH, SOUTH CAROLINA 2010

Gary and Marion invite you to join them at the one of the greatest golfing Mecca's Myrtle Beach. Staying at Broadway at the Beach in the Hampton Inn and playing some fantastic courses, including the Kings North course at Myrtle Beach National and the infamous "Gambler no 6".

Broadway at the Beach is one of South Carolinas top and award winning attractions. A large lake surrounded by many great restaurants, including Tony Romas, Liberty Steak House, Hard Rock Café, Joes Crab Shack and everybody's favourite Yamoto.

Also around the lake we have Ripley's Aquarium, many shops and bars, the Duelling Pianos and the Dragons Den mini golf, the scene of so many boys v girls challenges although I cant quite remember who has the upper hand.

The Hampton Inn is also situated on the lake so a short stroll out to dine in the evening after playing some great golf is all that is required, the Hotel itself is very relaxed and comfortable and we are staying in the lake view rooms on a bed and breakfast basis.

In this years tour we have included all transfers to and from the airport and golf courses, so if you do not like driving in the USA you don't have to (car hire cost available on request).
We have also included a history tour of the local area, which does have a colourful history of civil war, plantations and slavery.

The courses.

Pine Lakes Golf Club, designed by Robert White, first president of the USPGA IN 1227. Nestled in the heart of Myrtle Beach, we have a chance to experience a historic course, clubhouse and surrounds.

River Hills Golf Club, designed by Tom Jackson. The magnificent layout meanders through picturesque, heavily wooded, rolling terrain, which is unusual for a coastal course and gives River Hills its signature. The course has been named in "Golf Week's Top 50 list".

Waterway Hills Golf Club, a signature course of, `the Dean of golf course architecture` Robert Trent Jones. This is a classic `Jones` course with strategic landing areas, crowned greens and superb bunkering. We reach the course by a gondola journey over the Intercoastal Waterway.

Grand Dunes Golf Club, designed by Roger Rulewich and has seven dramatic holes along the Intercoastal Waterway, and has been voted one of the "Top Ten new Courses to Play".

Myrtle Beach National the Kings North course. Designed by legendary Arnold Palmer, the Kings North course provides one of the most visually exciting and challenging courses in America. The par 5 6th hole `the
Gambler` is one of the best risk and reward holes in golf.

River Oaks Golf Club. The beautiful 27 holes at River Oaks Plantation are located on the site of a former nature preserve. The quiet and seclusion make this an endearing experience and the tree lined fairways and ultra dwarf greens all make for a most pleasant round of golf.

Arcadian Shores Golf Club designed by top architect Rees Jones. Arcadian Shores combines the best elements of Mother Nature and modern course design, with enticing lakes and devilishly placed bunkers. `Sun News` golf experts have voted holes 2 & 13 as two of the best holes on the beach.
